Even if you haven’t, you are still probably familiar with the conventional formula of the house and land TVC, where perfect happy families reside in perfect happy homes, and the words BUY NOW encourage you to rush to secure your part of the Australian housing dream.
For VJs’ latest campaign for home builders Porter Davis, we decided to approach the home building category a little differently.
We needed to position Porter Davis as industry leaders, while at the same time highlight their key point of difference – their extensive range of stylish interior designs. For this we needed something a little bit more… well… stylish.
The World Of Style campaign takes a refreshing approach to your standard home building story. We wanted to create a more engaging, entertaining and memorable television experience – after all, this is the Australian family dream we are dealing with. Using stunning stop motion animation, we showcased household interiors based on inspired international designs, all while promoting the message that Porter Davis’ delivers homes designed to suit each individual consumers needs and desires for their dream home.
To align with the new look TVC, we also redesigned the Porter Davis online experience to expand on the stop motion design, and streamlined the user experience by creating a more intuitive interface for people to explore home designs.
